Political satirist and part-time Chapel Hill resident Lewis Black can't seem to stay away from Durham. After sellout performances in 2008 and 2010, the comedian will make his third stop at the Durham Performing Arts Center in the spring.
Black will perform at DPAC on April 13, 2012. Tickets start at $40 and go on sale to the public Friday, December 2, at noon via Ticketmaster and the DPAC box office.

Gabriel Iglesias announces 2012 tour, coming to Raleigh
Rotund Mexican-American comedian Gabriel Iglesias, best known from his Comedy Central specials I’m Not Fat… I’m Fluffy and Hot & Fluffy, will be hitting the road on an extensive tour in 2012.
He'll come to the Memorial Auditorium at the Progress Energy Center in Raleigh on Friday, March 16. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 18 via the Progress Energy Center box office and Ticketmaster for $42.

Kevin Smith & Jason Mewes bringing 'Jay & Silent Bob Get Old' to Durham
Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes have taken their iconic characters Jay and Silent Bob into the podcast world. It is called Jay & Silent Bob Get Old and they record the podcasts in front of live audiences around the country.
They'll bring their R-rated comedic stylings to the Carolina Theatre in Durham on Thursday, March 15. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 18 via the theatre box office and Ticketmaster for $29 to $49.

Michael Ian Black coming to Durham in December
Snarky stand-up Michael Ian Black, known for many comedic works including stints on the television shows Ed, Stella, Reno 911! and many more, will be coming to the Triangle in December.
